The Sassy Girl-II

I had ended the First part of the blog with a memo that including more of those peculiarities would make the Blog a Biographical one. But then, excluding them would not do equity to this composition either. For a character, who’s every alternate deed has something very typical about her persona and something that would'nt basset as a normal reaction to particular action/stimuli, it’s not an arduous job at all to jolt a few down into a write-up. Besides, the movie “My Sassy Girl” was based on about 12000 stories in the Internet based upon the Girl. So, I guess, it wouldn’t be inapt to write a second Blog upon a Girl, who’s much sassier than some chimerical lass featuring in a movie.

So, here are a few more of those typical features that I have come up with after a few little introspective peeks into her obscure character.

  1. In a company of boys, it doesn’t take much of an effort for a Girl to make her presence felt, unless she has looks like some ignorant Village-housewife featuring in some Family Planning add whom everyone tries to ignore. But this convention doesn’t make sense to the Sassy Girl, who keeps pretentiously making efforts to lure everyone’s attention, very much like Kids who keep belaboring some alien language words to intervene in adult’s conversation. And, here again, the sad part is that she’s always ends up successfully getting attention and bending the route the conversation towards the way she wants to, where she can spill out some awesome witty propositions and impress everyone.
  2. Imperative sentences, the ones which don’t include any ‘Please’ or ‘Request’, always generate a negative answer from the Girl blatantly declining to do what she’s supposed to do. But then, a reminder of the same incident (and the corresponding behavior) will make sure that she won’t behave the same way ever again. And very typically, she won’t mention about this change ever, not in the form of any Gratitude, Anger or any other sentiment. So, she can be discourteous and disrespectful but can be way nicer without even mentioning “Thanks for reminding me”. A Sassy Girl indeed.
  3. The Girl has good taste in movies and songs. Apart from a few choices here and there like ‘Mr. ya Miss’, she’s likes movies that are generally liked by many. But then, who in the world would sing songs from “No Entry” and that too with utmost passion showing the same level of cheap seducing cacophony like a B-Grade movie Ghost would show while she seduces her new prey.
  4. The Girl has a lot of self-respect like every independent educated Girl should have. She despises being regulated by someone and does things exactly the way she wants to. Now the bad part here, again, is that most of the people around her are exceedingly nice to her and they don’t just vituperate when she says/does something that is considered wrong, that too in the “Obvious” category. The Girl knows this too and as a result she gets a great liberty not only in expressing and emoting but also acting exactly and only that way she wants to. It’s difficult to understand how a few Girls get that luxury of not being vilified for any wrong statement uttered and it’s even more difficult to understand when you’re one of those who provide the luxury.
  5. She’s an out and out extrovert and, apart from a few instances when she’s pissed off, tired or bored when she prefers remaining quite, she keeps talking about her life, her opinions and her ideas. In a conversation, you get a feeling that she’d tell you frankly about any aspect of her life. But, she very wisely cuts the long causerie short or bends it to some other area, right when she feels that it’s already enough material for you to know. Though she knows people well, she very well knows exactly how expressive she should be about them. That’s unlike most frank childish people who don’t know how to keep even a few things only to themselves.
  6. Being Self-Centric generally implies that one’s only concerned about oneself and one’s benefits. But the Girl, despite being self-centric, can help you, a few times without a request too. She can also quietly convince people to offer you help. As I did mention in the previous Blog, she can also edulcorate her speech just to keep someone’s heart.

There are a few more peculiarities like,

~Despite living outside her motherland in a much better place, she tends to go back there some day. At least her stupid Blog, in which she writes a few weird hindi poems, says that

~Despite being a Girl, she detests acting like a typical one and also those who act that way.

~She does dislike a few people but can manage pretty convivially with them without making them realize that they suck.

I had begun writing this Blog with an intended pun but in the end, it does seem that I am ending it with quite a bit of praise in it. That’s something that inexorably happens when you write something on Sassy Girls.
